Getting into gear for Albion in the Community
When Gavin, O&G’s Managing Director, told us that he was planning to cycle from Brighton to Paris in two days, there were some raised eyebrows around the office.

‘Isn’t that…quite far?’ we asked him. ‘What if you get a flat tyre?’

But Gavin’s not easily daunted as he's cycling the 130-mile trip to raise funds for Albion in the Community. The local football club charity funds loads of great projects in Brighton, including cancer awareness, disability football, homeless skills training, unemployment initiatives, mental health support, youth schemes and Senior Citizen fitness.

Gavin says:
‘As a born-and-bred Brightonian, it’s a charity that’s very close to my heart and I’ve really seen the difference AITC’s work makes to the local community.’

Gavin’s bike ride will take two days, starting at the Amex Stadium in Brighton and ending in Paris, and he’ll be travelling with a team of AITC fundraisers. Right now he’s in intensive training every weekend - we’re all rooting for him (and hoping that he brings us back some Camembert).

If you like, you can make a difference to the community by donating to Gavin's Just Giving page (he’ll be covering the costs of his trip himself, so all money raised will go directly to AITC).

Good luck, Gavin!
