Brighton Half Marathon 2021 Rebrand launched
As the race enters its fourth decade, we were thrilled to win the pitch to develop the new identity for the Brighton Half Marathon.

As the race enters its fourth decade, we were thrilled to win the pitch to develop the new identity for the Brighton Half Marathon.

The brief was clear... get to the heart of the event / the city / its people - colourful, quirky and quintessentially Brighton!

As a globally recognised event, we worked on developing mood boards and a selection of concept ideas that answered the brief and were pleased when the Half Marathon team picked our unique and undeniably Brighton Seagull.

The gull’s nickname ‘Beaky’, chosen by the Half Marathon team, is a nod to the fact the event is organised by local charity The Sussex Beacon and the proceeds each year go directly to help those living locally with HIV. The Beacon is also a local charity that the O&G team have supported for a number of years, so having the opportunity to revamp the marathon ID was even more special.

A big thank you to the Half Marathon team in trusting us to be bold, creative and individual in our approach.

Now to find those running shoes!
