All aboard the Book Bus!

O&G are proud to be supporting two local teachers as they embark on a journey to Zambia to teach students in a refugee camp.

Natasha Rosine and Anna Michica have spent the past few months undertaking fundraising activities which will raise enough money to get them there and enable them to help further the development of the African children.

As well as a number of events including car boot sales, karaoke nights and raffles, the girls have raised sponsorship by walking the ten mile round trip to work everyday and living off just £1.55 a day between them – the equivalent of what a teacher in Zambia earns in a week!

Rosemary Graimes, Company Secretary who has been assisting the girls in their fundraising activities says "Tasha and Anna worked very hard to raise the funds for the Book Bus and every event was very well supported by friends, family and local people and we all wish them every success"
